Shipping policy

Jangels Shipping Policy

This policy explains delivery for orders placed with Jangels. It must be read together with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing here limits your rights under applicable South African consumer law.

Delivery areas and fees

We currently offer delivery within South Africa, subject to courier coverage and the delivery options available for your address at checkout.

  • Standard delivery: R89 for orders below R689.
  • Free delivery: orders of R699 or more.

The applicable shipping charge is shown before you pay. Check the final order value and delivery charge after discounts. Any future rate changes apply to new orders and will not change an agreed delivery charge for an existing order.

Processing and delivery estimates

Our usual processing and dispatch estimate is 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. The standard delivery options currently show an estimated 3–5 business days in transit after dispatch. Processing and transit are separate periods. Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.

These are estimates, unless we expressly agree a delivery date with you. Remote areas, stock issues, public holidays and courier disruptions may affect timing. Any product-specific lead time will be communicated before purchase where applicable. If you need delivery by a particular date, contact us before ordering.

Dispatch and tracking

We use courier delivery and will provide dispatch confirmation and tracking information where available. A dispatch notification does not mean the parcel has been delivered. Contact shopzatrends@gmail.com if tracking is unavailable or appears to have stopped updating.

Your delivery information

Please provide a complete delivery address and reachable contact details at checkout, and ensure someone authorised can receive the parcel. Email us promptly if you need to correct your address. Changes after dispatch may not be possible and may involve an actual courier charge, which we will explain before arranging the change.

Delayed, lost or damaged deliveries

Weather, high shipping volumes, strikes and other disruptions may cause delays. We will communicate material delays when we become aware of them and help investigate missing parcels. We remain your point of contact; handing a parcel to a courier does not remove our legal delivery obligations.

Where section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, we must fulfil an order within 30 days after receiving it unless another period has been agreed. If we fail to do so, you may cancel on seven days' written notice as provided by that Act. If ordered goods are unavailable, we will notify you immediately and refund payments within 30 days of that notification.

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order reference and photographs where available. Keep packaging where practical to assist the investigation. Reporting promptly helps us resolve the issue but does not shorten your statutory rights.

Failed delivery and redelivery

If a parcel cannot be delivered after reasonable attempts because of incorrect details, an unavailable recipient or refusal of delivery, contact us to arrange the next step. Where a failed delivery is attributable to you and the law permits a charge, you may be asked to pay the reasonable actual cost of redelivery. We will disclose the amount before you agree. We will not charge you for redelivery caused by our or the courier's error, or penalise a valid statutory cancellation.

Delivery risk

For delivery arranged by Jangels, we remain responsible for loss or damage until delivery to you or your authorised recipient, as required by applicable law. Courier terms do not override your consumer rights.

Returns and contact

Return shipping and refunds are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy. For shipping questions or delivery problems, email shopzatrends@gmail.com and include your order reference.
